Our weekly schedule can be seen below. At most runs we split into short and long groups. Shorter runs are usually 1 - 4 miles and long runs are 4 - 6+ miles. Everyone is welcome regardless of ability!


Spring and Fall

Mon - Thurs 5PM Meet at the goat on the quad
Fun Friday 5PM Check slack or our emails!
Saturday Long Run 12PM Meet at the goat on the quad
  • Runs generally increase in length as the year progresses
  • Saturday runs are longer lengths (6+ miles)
  • Fun Fridays are lots of fun activities like team dinners, yoga, lawn games, ice cream runs, movie nights, relays, game nights, and more!
  • It's not uncommon for a group of runners to add extra mileage after the scheduled run, completely optional of course!

Races

Running Club is a member of NIRCA and we participate in XC, track, and other road races throughout the year! To learn more please click the link below.


Winter Schedule

During the winter months we hold outdoor runs at 4PM due to daylight savings. Indoor runs are also held at 5PM in the rec center, which are generally speed focused due to limited space.


Gym Credit

All WPI students are required to obtain gym credit in order to graduate. Through club sports we are able to offer gym credit to individuals who are registered for WPE 1221 on Workday! At least 21 runs / events must be attended throughout the semester in order to get credit for the class.
