Quick Facts

  • We meet most days of the week for group runs around Worcester!
  • We have over 80 active members, (runs are usually with 15 to 40 members).
  • We welcome runners of all skill levels.
  • Attendance is not mandatory, show up and run/race whenever you want to!
  • We participate in cross country races and track meets throughout the year!

Schedule & Races

We offer a number of runs of varying length each week and usually split into shorter and longer groups. We also have Fun Fridays! These are team activities like yoga, team dinners, lawn games, relay races, and more! During the fall and spring we also go to races in the region through NIRCA. How to Join

Email & Slack

Joining both our email list and Slack is the best way to get all of our updates. These include weekly schedules for our runs and events. You can also follow us on Instagram and join our myWPI page if you'd like.

Frequently Asked Questions


Do I need to show up to all practices?

Nope! You can show up to as few or as many runs and events as you'd like!

Is the club open to all levels?

Yes! All runners are encouraged to participate, whether you're brand new to the sport or have run competitively for years! We have a large variety of skill levels in the club so there is always someone to run with!

Can I get gym credit from Running Club?

Yes! We offer the ability to get gym credit during the fall (A&B term) and spring (C&D term) semesters! This involves going to at least 21 runs in a semester to get credit.
